Brooke Doss is a dance and communications major at Kennesaw State University and the reigning Miss Cobb County’s Talented Teen. Brooke has been dancing since the age of two and has trained in many styles, including contemporary, jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip hop. She has placed first overall in numerous dance competitions in the Atlanta area with self-choreographed solos, including winning the title of Miss Starquest 2013, as well as winning first overall at Stage One’s National Finals and a “Technical Excellence” special award. She was a Breakout Artist winner at NUVO dance convention, where she trained with and auditioned for renowned choreographers such as Stacey Tookey, Travis Wall, and Ray Leeper. She was also one of iHollywood dance convention’s A-list dancers two years in a row, and was chosen to perform in the faculty showcase at Intrigue dance convention last year. Brooke has an extensive ballet background, having trained at the Georgia Ballet and the Metropolitan Ballet, and has been featured in several ballets, including playing the role of Clara in The Nutcracker. She has also danced in industrials for companies such as Avon and Herbalife. She is currently a member of the KSU dance company, where her specialties are jazz and contemporary.
